Located in the beautiful San Francisco Bay, Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center has an opening for a Pediatrician who would like the opportunity to expand the pediatric practice at Tiburcio’s San Leandro site. San Leandro is one of Tiburcio’s newer primary care facilities; providing full-scope primary care including pediatric, pre-natal, and adult medicine as well as behavioral health, podiatry, optometry and dental services. This position is part of a team which includes pediatric NPs, PAs and other ancillary staff. San Leandro Clinic - Recently completed, this green facility, opened its doors in 2015. The new facility is 22,000 square feet with 28 exam rooms and 8 dental chairs.
- Patient care incorporates wellness and health promotion by having health educators, community health workers, and behavioral health specialists as part of the care team.

Responsibilities
- Provides direct clinical care in accordance with highest applicable standards of medical practices, in full accordance with health center policies and protocols.
- Maintains accurate medical records through our electronic health records system.
- Assists with day to day oversight of pediatric NPs and PAs.
- Assists with implementation of site quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Must be in possession of a valid license to practice in the State of California (or ability to obtain), including DEA license, and CPR.
- Candidates must be Board Certified (or Board eligible) in designated primary care specialty field of practice.
- Experience working with an EHR system (NextGen preferred)
Job Preferences - Bilingual, especially Spanish, is a plus.

- Willingness and ability to work periodic evenings and/or weekends, as needed.
