Work Hours/Shift: Full Time Days When you work your 12-hour shift in between the hours below, you will add the differentials to the base rate of pay. 7a-3p = base pay 3p-11p = base plus 15% 11p-7a = base plus 18% Weekends is the above plus another 10% You Will Be Responsible For: - Sets priorities for nursing actions based on individual patientâ™s needs and formulates plan of nursing care.

Qualifications
What You Will Need: · Minimum of associates degree in nursing · Valid Texas RN license or RN license from state recognized by Texas Board of Nursing as equivalent · BLS · Ability to multitask effectively · Ability to get patients ready for procedure in a set amount of time · Ability to discharge patients in a timely manner Job Summary: The Registered Nurse plans, provides, and coordinates nursing practice with psychiatric patients in coordination with other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team. Performs direct patient care activities that are developmental and age specific for the population served; coordinates, supervises and directs those providing care at a novice and advanced beginner level. Provides direct nursing care and supervision of patients including focused nursing assessments, patient education, medication administration, and documentation of care. The Registered Nurse is under the supervision of the Evening Charge Nurse and Nurse Manager. This care is consistent with the hospital accountabilities, Standards of Practice and in support of the Nursing Service and patient care goals. Actual roles and tasks may vary depending upon the unit or department assigned. This position reports to the Nurse Manager.
