Registered Nurse / RN Clinical Coordinator delivers advanced professional and technical nursing care to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients undergoing outpatient/ambulatory services in collaboration with care directed by the medical staff. Registered Nurse / RN is acountable for the smooth, effective and efficient functioning of the pre-admission process with minimal direction from the department head. Registered Nurse / RN collaborates with other disciplines in order to facilitate patientâ��s surgical event. Registered Nurse / RN performs nursing techniques for the comfort and well-being of the patient. Provides education to patients who are preparing for outpatient surgery. Works closely with the physicians in order to provide optimal care to their patients. Provides patient care in the outpatient department as needed. Registered Nurse / RN provides innovative solutions to problems while overcoming resistance to change. Participates in continuous quality improvement and assists nursing with the hospital wide preparation of all regulatory agency surveys. Ensures services delivered meet or exceeds market requirements and delights customers.
Current Florida RN / Registered Nurse License
Current BLS Certification.
Current ACLS Certification
Three (3) years acute care experience.
Basic computer skills
Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language, ability to speak other language(s) preferred
Visual and hearing senses must be adequate to assess/detect changes in human physiological condition
Good time management skills, ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, stressful environment
